Hello Reavers!
I wanted to take some time and talk about what has been going on with the guild and what lies in our future.
We are currently in a lull. This is OK. We have been going really hard for the last year or so. We have even gone as far as raiding 3 nights a week, and hitting it real hard at times. As it stands now we are in ICC, we are well geared, and we will get Arthas down by the end of the expansion. There is really no hurry.
So please take the time to get a break from the game. I know for myself that I have needed to step back a bit and do other things.
I want to stress that the guild is not breaking up. I am not quitting the game, and we are not done.
We have a great group of people here. I cannot imagine playing this game with anyone else, and we should work together to keep it alive.
Now, to the future. We will continue to raid Wednesday and Friday. Attendance is not required. The old axiom does apply though. If you sign up, show up. There is a tentative button, please use it if you need to. Just remember the tentative people are alternates if the raid fills up.
In addition we need to pay more attention to our gems and enchants. With a lightened raid schedule and raiding the highest content you need those enhancements. We have all the patterns, and we can get mats. There is no excuse for not having your gear properly gemmed and enchanted.
We will continue to work on ICC and then the ruby sanctum when it comes out.
Looking toward Cataclysm, I want to see something a bit different. We have a ton of time till it is out, but when it hits, I want to be a bit more coordinated. Lets bank mats, build up our profession threads here on the site.
I’m sure we will see an upswing when the expansion comes. More content is interesting. Please respond in the comments to this, and lets get this train straight for the future.
